A little bit about your photographerMy name is Charlotte, though most people know me as Charlie. I am an award winning International photographer and have been awarded the prestigious "photographer of the year - multi genre" title in 2012 and 2013 by The Guild of Photographers in the UK. In 2016 I was runner up in the 'rural and landscape' category and in 2017 I went one better winning the category with an image made in New Zealand. In 2012 I moved to a beautiful rural location in The Netherlands and began my journey into landscape photography. Six years later I am still inspired by my new surroundings which I love to photograph not only in a traditional style, but more recently with a more abstract feel. My images are available to purchase for your wall or for commercial use; please get in touch if you have any questions. Being an English speaker in the Netherlands; I love working with both Dutch and Ex pat families, to produce beautiful images that capture character and life. Innovative and original, these photos will be a work of art to treasure. With a love of horses I also enjoy equine photography commissions; you choose the location and I will join you to create unique portraits of you and your beautiful horse or pony. Having grown up in rural England, with a feeling of space, freedom and happiness, I try to incorporate these values into my photography. I love to photograph outside with the varied backgrounds that are on offer, but also have a studio available. As an individual I am very relaxed and this is very evident in my photographic style. I love what I do, and my passion is evident in the images I create. Even when I’m not at work, my camera is never very far away from me, as I love to document my family life. My favorite colour is green, favourite food; cheescake and my favourite smell is fresh cut grass! Every day I indulge myself listening to the mooing of cows, and spending time with my family, horses, dog, sheep and chickens. As a family we love exploring the local countryside , world travel and a good bottle of red wine. I Look forward to meeting you very soon Charlie
