With clear bright light and no hint of wind; the reflections on the water can appear mystical. The shapes dance before your eyes, and patterns spring to life.

During my holiday in Peru recently, I was captivated by the reflections of the sky and reed huts on Lake Titicaca, and the greens, reds and creams of the overhanging foliage on an Amazonian ox bow lake.
